The best way to get a feel for Trinity is to come join us for worship sometime. We have two worship services during the week during the school year. Sunday morning we gather at 9:00AM and Wednesdays at 6:15pm in the sanctuary. From the parking lot the best way to access the sanctuary is from Door 1 or Door 2.
The Wednesday worship is about 30 mins and a little less formal than Sunday morning. It's accompanied by a piano and typically we sing a few verses of hymns as well as scripture and a sermon. The congregation offers up prayer concerns during the service and we have Holy Communion together. There is a meal offered each week at 5:00pm.
Sunday morning worship typically draws a much larger crowd and is more liturgical in nature with liturgy, hymns, scripture, a sermon and Holy Communion. The music is accompanied by a pipe organ with the exception of the third Sunday where the contemporary worship bands plays. There is often special music with the choir, bells, or other small groups. New members are always welcome in our music groups! We enjoy a time of coffee and treats following the worship service.
Children are welcomed and encouraged to join their parents in worship! We do not have a separate nursery space. The back of the sanctuary does have a "Pray Ground" which is s designated space where children may hang out and play during the service. The Sunday service always has a children's message when the children are invited forward for time with a pastor. The pastors at Trinty are both parents and know the challenges of worshipping with children. We love to see kids worshipping God with their families.
Dress is come as you are! Some people dress up, some don't, some are more business casual, some aren't. Some children love to come in dressy outfits, others come in whatever they have picked out, which we know could be anything!
Children are invited to attend Sunday School from ages 3 to 8th grade which meets at 10:15AM. We also have a Sacraments Class for 5th graders on Wednesday Evenings at 5:15PM. Confirmation Ministries for 6th -9th grade also on Wednesday evenings at 6:45PM. Middle and High School Youth also have separate times they gather for youth group.
